Chrome Extension Privacy
The Pomospert Chrome extension has one purpose: keep your Pomospert focus session visible and controllable while you browse.
Data the extension uses
- An opaque, revocable credential that connects the extension to your account.
- Your active timer's mode, remaining time, run state, and linked task title.
- A local marker used to prevent duplicate completion notifications.
- Whether a Pomospert tab exists, only when you ask the extension to open the app.
What it does not collect
The extension does not read or store browsing history, inspect unrelated tabs, inject content into webpages, sell data, serve advertising, or load executable code from a remote server.
Storage and transmission
The credential and minimal timer cache are stored only in Chrome's local extension storage, not synced between browsers. Account and timer requests are sent only to pomospert.app over HTTPS. Credential hashes—not raw credentials—are stored on Pomospert's server.
Control and deletion
Disconnecting in the popup revokes the server credential and clears local extension data. Deleting your Pomospert account also deletes associated extension credentials. For help, email privacy@pomospert.app.
